Visitation Policy:

We consider our breeding program a hobby, not a commercial business. In addition to caring for, training, and occasionally competing with our dogs, we lead very busy lives. This includes work, family, and other hobbies & activities. With only so much time in a day, visits to our home and private property must be limited.

Visits to see any currently available pups or older dogs are always welcome, by appointment, once your application has been approved, however, for those waiting for a litter of pups that's not yet ready to go, visits must be limited until the pups are at least 8 weeks of age. Once the pups are ready to go, we are more than happy to meet with you and introduce you to your pups' parents, and show you where our dogs live and how they are raised. In the mean time, prior to your visit, we encourage you to look through our extensive website--such as our doggie photo album, where you can clearly see that our dogs really are happy, healthy, well cared for members of the family; our puppy album, where you can see photos of various pups we have produced in the past; and equally importantly our references page, where we like to post many of the letters and emails we receive on a regular basis from families who have chosen one of our pups as their new member of the family.

Please understand that we simply do not have the extra time for lots of visits from each and every hopeful family prior to the pups being available, as our first concern is giving plenty of time an attention to our dogs, pups, and of course our own family. Rest assured that our dogs sleep inside at night, and each get house & yard time during the day. While we do have a couple outside kennels and individual crates inside, they do not spend the majority of their time caged.

Scheduling Appointments:

It is our goal to treat everyone, including our dogs, as individuals, not a business, and we expect the same in return. Our daily life generally includes a very full and busy schedule. Please understand that visits to our home are more than welcome for those interested in anything we currently have available, and we are always happy to make time for you, however, we also have other important things to do both before and after your visit. We are not a pet store, and do not have hours in which people can drop by unannounced, or just show up anytime between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Our time is very important to us, as we assume your time is to you. If you have made an appointment with us, please do your best to be on time. We understand that when traveling to someplace new for the first time, you may run a few minuets early or late, not knowing how much time to give yourself, or you may even run into traffic or make a wrong turn along the way. We understand that these things happen, however, we do ask that if you are going to be significantly early or late, just give us a call & leave a message to let us know. If you show up more than 30 mins early, you may have to wait, as we are likely still preparing for your visit or still in the middle of something else. If you are more than 30 mins late, and we have not heard from you, we may assume you are a "no-show." If, however, you are able to contact us to let us know that you are running off schedule, we will do our best to be accommodating. In addition, if you change your plans for any reason, and decide you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please let us know asap.
